The Snohomish County treasurer must deposit one percent of the proceeds of the excise tax collected, pursuant to SMC 3.08.010, into the Snohomish County current expense fund to defray the costs of collection. No such deduction may be made from the proceeds of the excise tax collected pursuant to SMC 3.08.015. (Ord. 1520 § 1 (Exh. A), 2023).
