3.08.015 Imposition of tax – REET 2.
This section is included in your selections.
(1) Per RCW 82.46.035, an additional excise tax of one-quarter of one percent of the selling price is imposed on each sale of real property within the corporate limits of the city of Stanwood.
(2) This tax is in addition to the tax imposed by SMC 3.08.010.
(3) Proceeds of taxes imposed in this section must be deposited per SMC 3.34.121 and expended as authorized by RCW 82.46.035. (Ord. 1520 § 1 (Exh. A), 2023).
