(1) Per RCW 82.46.010, an excise tax of one-quarter of one percent of the selling price is imposed on each sale of real property within the corporate limits of the city of Stanwood.

(2) Proceeds of taxes imposed in this section must be deposited per SMC 3.34.120 and used by the city as authorized by RCW 82.46.010.

(3) This section does not limit the existing authority of this city to impose special assessments on property specially benefited thereby in the manner prescribed by law. (Ord. 1520 § 1 (Exh. A), 2023).
