(1) The commission has the duty to annually review the salaries paid by the city to each elected city official.

(2) The commission must meet between May 1st and July 31st of each year to determine salary adjustments to become effective on January 1st of the following year.

(3) After review, if the commission determines that the salary paid to any elected city official should be increased or decreased, the commission must file a written salary schedule with the city clerk indicating the increase or decrease in salary. (Ord. 1513 § 1 (Exh. A), 2023).
