(1) Any increase or decrease in salary established by the commission becomes effective and incorporated into the city budget for the year following commission review without further action of the city council or the commission.

(2) Salary increases established by the commission are effective for all city elected officials, regardless of their terms of office.

(3) Salary decreases established by the commission become effective as to incumbent city elected officials at the beginning of their next term of office. (Ord. 1513 § 1 (Exh. A), 2023).
