9.42.030 Use and discharge.
This section is included in your selections.
(1) It is unlawful to use or discharge consumer fireworks within the city of Stanwood except during the following times:
(a) From 12:00 noon to 11:00 p.m. on June 28th;
(b) From 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on each day from June 29th to July 3rd;
(c) From 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight on July 4th;
(d) From 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on July 5th;
(e) From 6:00 p.m. on December 31st until 1:00 a.m. on January 1st of the subsequent year.
(2) This section does not apply to a public display of fireworks licensed per Chapter 5.04 SMC.
(3) A violation of this section is a class 2 civil infraction. (Ord. 1516 § 2 (Exh. B), 2023).
