The hearing examiner has the power to propose rules and regulations for the scheduling and conduct of hearings and other procedural matters related to the duties of the office, which must be adopted by the city council by resolution pursuant to RCW 35A.63.170. (Ord. 1513 § 1 (Exh. A), 2023).
