(1) Position Created. There is created and established the position of city clerk per RCW 35A.12.020.

(2) Duties and Authority. The city clerk has all of the powers granted and duties imposed by authority of the laws of the state and ordinances of the city, now existing or hereafter adopted, subject to the general supervision and control of the mayor. (Ord. 1513 § 1 (Exh. A), 2023).
