(1) The traffic violations bureau must operate consistent with RCW 3.30.090 and Chapter 46.63 RCW, under the supervision of the Cascade District Court to assist the court in processing traffic infractions.

(2) The court is authorized to allow any and all traffic infractions issued by the city of Stanwood to be processed through the traffic violations bureau. Any traffic infraction in the city of Stanwood is designated a traffic infraction that may be processed through the traffic violations bureau.

(3) The traffic violations bureau must receive the posting of penalties for traffic infractions to the extent authorized by the Cascade District Court. The traffic violations bureau must issue a receipt acknowledging the posting to the alleged violator.

(4) All penalties paid to the traffic violations bureau must be placed in the city’s general fund. (Ord. 1513 § 1 (Exh. A), 2023).
