Board members are encouraged to invite community stakeholders to meetings for the purpose of expanding the conversation and understanding of issues before the board. Stakeholders may participate in the meetings but are not eligible to vote on matters before the board. Stakeholders may include, but are not limited to, representatives of the following groups: chambers of commerce, downtown business associations, the Stanwood School District, clubs and organizations, and other community groups.
