(1) Advise the mayor and city council in matters concerning amendment of the Comprehensive Plan, and the land use and development regulations, not including adoption of the International Building Code and related codes;

(2) Perform the functions directed by SMC Title 17;

(3) Hold public meetings and hearings when called for by this code;

(4) Provide the city council with copies of all minutes of each session of the planning commission;

(5) Prepare and submit to the city council for adoption any additional plans and undertake any plans and studies assigned by the city council; and

(6) Perform other duties as assigned by city council. (Ord. 1513 § 1 (Exh. A), 2023).
