(1) Per RCW 42.30.070, the city council’s regular meeting schedule is the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 7:00 p.m., except that when the date for any regular meeting of the city council falls upon a day designated by law as a legal or national holiday, that meeting must be held at the same hour on the preceding Monday if it is not a holiday.

(2) Scheduled city council meetings may be canceled consistent with the city council’s adopted rules of procedure.

(3) Special meetings of the city council may be scheduled by the mayor or council according to the city council rules of procedure and RCW 35A.12.110 and 42.30.080. (Ord. 1513 § 1 (Exh. A), 2023).
