PRDs, as permitted in this article, are intended to provide some opportunity for variety and creative or unique design arrangements and relationship of dwelling units and land. To ensure that a PRD conforms to the character and nature of the district in which it is located, achieves a maximum of coordination with surrounding land uses, and encourages the most appropriate use of land within the PRD, specific and additional standards are hereby established.
