The purpose of conditional use permits is to allow certain uses in districts where they are normally prohibited by this title, when the proposed uses are deemed consistent with other existing and potential uses within the general area of the proposed use. Except as provided in this section, a conditional use permit may not reduce the requirements of the zone in which the use is to be located. (Ord. 1499 § 4 (Exh. D), 2021).
