(1) If a person to whom an order is directed does not obey the order or does not pay the civil penalty assessed by the order, the director may pursue any combination of the remedies in Chapter 13.40 SMC.

(2) Any person who removes a posted emergency or stop work order without authorization is guilty of a misdemeanor.

(3) If a person to whom an order is directed fails to comply with an emergency or stop work order, that person is guilty of a gross misdemeanor. Each day or part thereof of noncompliance with a stop work order is a separate offense. (Ord. 1517 § 1 (Exh. A), 2023).
