Any uncorrected violation is detrimental to the public health, safety, and welfare and is a public nuisance. A public nuisance is a continuing offense against the order and economy of the city of Stanwood and is subject to enforcement under Chapters 7.48 and 9.66 RCW. Per RCW 9.66.030, maintenance of a public nuisance is a misdemeanor. (Ord. 1517 § 1 (Exh. A), 2023).
